Parliament considered the government proposal on Finland's accession to NATO in partly single reading and partly second reading on Tuesday, 28 February. The basis for handling the matter was the unanimous report of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
In the debate held on Tuesday, MP Markus Mustajärvi (Left Alliance Parliamentary Group) proposed rejecting the proposal and MP Johannes Yrttiaho (Left Alliance Parliamentary Group) supported this proposal. So, the matter must be voted on. The vote will take place at plenary session on Wednesday, March 1 at 2 p.m.
In addition, MP Mustajärvi presented three proposed resolutions on the matter, which must also be voted on.
