At the plenary session on Tuesday, February 4, Jussi Halla-aho (The Finns Party Parliamentary Group) was re-elected as Speaker. Paula Risikko (National Coalition Party Parliamentary Group) was also re-elected as the First Deputy Speaker, and Tarja Filatov (Social Democratic Parliamentary Group) will continue as the Second Deputy Speaker.
In the election, Halla-aho received 105 votes. In the deputy speaker elections, Risikko received 161 votes and Filatov 124 votes.
Speaker Jussi Halla-aho
Speaker, Doctor of Philosophy Jussi Halla-aho (b. 1971) served as a Member of Parliament in 2011–2014 and again from July 2019. He has been elected to parliament from the Electoral District of Helsinki. Between 2014 and 2019, he served as a Member of the European Parliament. Halla-aho has acted as chairman of the True Finns Party in 2017–2021 and as Speaker of Parliament in 2023.

First Deputy Speaker Paula Risikko
First Deputy Speaker, Doctor of Health Sciences Paula Risikko (b. 1960) has served as a Member of Parliament since 2003. She represents the Electoral District of Vaasa. She has previously served as Speaker of Parliament and as a minister in many governments. Risikko has also led Parliament's Education and Culture Committee since 2019.

Second Deputy Speaker Tarja Filatov
Second Deputy Speaker (b. 1963) Tarja Filatov has served as a Member of Parliament since 1995. Filatov has served as the Second Deputy Speaker in 2010–2011 and since April 2023. Filatov served as the First Deputy Speaker in 2020–2021. Filatov has been elected to Parliament from the Electoral District of Häme.
