“Helsinki Dialogue” event on building a democratic future for Belarus livestreamed at 1 p.m.

​The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and its Finnish delegation will organise a seminar where the future of Belarus is discussed with the democratic forces of the country in Helsinki on 11-12 January 2024.

All significant representatives of the democratic opposition in Belarus, led by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, as well as European politicians, experts, and ambassadors, have been invited to the Helsinki Dialogue – A democratic future for Belarus seminar.

The first part of the seminar (Opening Session, Belarus in the contemporary geopolitical context) will be livestreamed on Thursday, 11 January from 13:00 to 14:45.

The panel discussion will be led by the Council of Europe's Belarus rapporteur and chairperson of the Finnish delegation, Kimmo Kiljunen.​
