Parliament will debate government statement on promoting equality and non-discrimination on 6 September

​The autumn session of the Parliament starts on Tuesday, September 5. On Wednesday, September 6, the plenary session will hold a debate on the government statement on the promotion of equality and non-discrimination in Finnish society. The debate will start with a presentation speech by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (National Coalition Party Parliamentary Group).

At the end of the consideration of the statement, a vote is taken on the confidence in the Government or the Minister, if during the debate a proposal has been made to issue a vote of no confidence to the Government or the Minister. Votes of confidence will be held in plenary session on Friday, September 8.
