​On Tuesday, June 20, Parliament elected Petteri Orpo (National Coalition Party Parliamentary Group) as Prime Minister by votes 107-81.

Orpo has served as a Member of Parliament since 2007 and has been the Chairman of the National Coalition Party since 2016.

President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will appoint the new Prime Minister and Government later today.
